Total recycling and waste management
At Casepak we recognise that different organisations have different recycling and waste management needs. We also understand that if you are to achieve the best resource recovery rates, it’s important that you find a recycling partner with systems that work for you.
At Casepak we have two recycling facilities:
- a Collections and Processing Facility for source segregated materials
- a Materials Recycling Facility for dry mixed recyclables
Both are centrally located in Leicester and both process approximately 150,000 tonnes of recyclable materials a year. This means that we can support most commercial, industrial and local authority collection types, allowing you to develop your recycling solution without any constraints.
Source segregated materials
Our Collections and Processing Facility has been developed to sort, grade and trade source segregated paper, card and plastics. The facility offers a wide range of support services, including the supply of specialist recycling equipment, the development of waste management plans and materials collection services.

Dry mixed recyclables
Our Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) is one of the newest of its kind in the UK. This resource recovery facility is fitted with some of the most advanced technology currently available to sort and separate mixed recyclable materials. The materials treated at the MRF are:
- paper - newspapers, magazines, catalogues, telephone directories (including Yellow Pages and other catalogues), envelopes (including window envelopes), computer paper, office paper (white and coloured), junk mail and flyers, shredded paper, greetings cards and other papers including clean paper bags and wrapping paper
- card - cardboard and corrugated boxes, egg boxes, cereal boxes, other display and food packaging, Tetra Pak and juice cartons
- plastic - plastic drinks bottles (all types including milk, water, fizzy drinks, cleaning products and beauty products), plastic food trays and containers (rigid plastic), plastic film and bags (including carrier bags and bubble wrap)
- glass - bottles and jars of all colours
- steel - steel food and drink cans

aluminium - aluminium food and drink cans, foil, aerosols
Casepak MRF customers also enjoy a wide range of support services including the development of waste management programmes, waste audits, waste reporting and account management.
